I see Málaga is recurring in your writings. I couldn't imagine it was such a hot spot of culinary dedication. I was there a few months ago and I did feel a certain gastronomic vibes, but I thought it was mainly because it's a touristic town. Anyway, I'm a simple person, gimme tapas and I'm happy. 😄

The absolute novelty in Spanish gastronomy is the strong emergence of Andalusia. Whilst the Italian gastronomy writers are still into the El Bulli after party and discovering both the grills in Basque Country and the seafood in Galicia, as they always are at the forefront of novelties, Andalusia is stacking stars, recognition and a deep cultural work of rediscovery and invention.

All Dani’s galaxy in Malaga (Cosmo as the ideal tapas bar for instance), but also Jaen, with more stars for square meter, the hidden seafood bars in Granada and Fuengirola, the beautiful spots in Seville (I have written about them not so long ago). It all calls for a visit extending from tapas to dinner :)

Indeed in Sevilla I went to a marvellous fusion tapas restaurant!

Dear Sara, thank you very much, once again. I hope you enjoyed it. Hoping to exchange a dedicatory for an honest and constructive critic as soon as possible. Wine is on me!

I will chase that dedicatory even if I have to go to Catalunya and pretend I’m in a funky novel like “Sin noticias de Gurb” to find you one day!
