Thank you very much Sara for mentioning my little letter honoring "La Fisher". Getting involved when writing about eating and drinking in order to tell many other things linked to culture, social problems or even politics like Fisher did, is an art that all food and wine writers should aspire to master. Having completed our master's degree with Yanet Acosta is effectively the beginning of understanding that each of our voices matters and only working on our authenticity we will be able to communicate a dish, a wine, a table or a gastro book touching the soul of our readers. This summer I plan to reread Provence 1970 not only to continue finding my own voice but because I firmly believe that it is a book that all of us who have a hungry and thirsty mind should read again and again to think about the future of food and drinks, the meaning of taste and the limits of snobbery.
